Summary
Delta Oaks Group is seeking an extremely talented, growth-oriented, and telecommunications-focused business development professional to guide the company into its next phase of growth. We are seeking a candidate with a special combination of technical and industry knowledge, experience with front-end development services, business development skills, and an entrepreneurial passion for sales driven growth. This role is ideally suited for an experienced telecommunications industry professional capable of using their enthusiasm, business acumen, and industry contacts to advance a growing firm to an expanded level of success. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and support company growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective telecommunications clients, carriers, tower owners, and strategic partners
  • Lead the full business development process including prospecting, pipeline management, client outreach, proposal development, and account management
  • Expand client relationships and establish new carrier-based partnerships and MSAs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted telecommunications markets
  • Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline and reporting process
  • Collaborate with company leadership to align growth initiatives with operational capabilities and client service standards
  • Support cross-selling opportunities across existing client accounts
  • Develop repeatable sales processes and standard operating procedures from lead generation through project closeout
  • Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and clients need to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Assist with pricing strategy development based on market conditions, competition, and profitability goals
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings as needed
  • Represent Delta Oaks Group professionally and uphold company values in all client and partner interactions
As the selected individual will be responsible for representing Delta Oaks Group to clients and external partners, they will be expected to act in a professional manner and uphold Delta Oaks Group’s mission and values at all times. The Senior Director - Business Development should set the standard for interpersonal attitude, industry camaraderie, a respect for others, and a demonstration of company values.

Experience/Minimum Requirements
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue-based sales targets and developing new business in the telecommunications vertical, focusing on carrier and tower owner business opportunities
  • Demonstrated carrier-based relationships 
  • 8+ years of experience (minimum 5 years of consultative or business development experience in the telecommunications industry) 
  • Knowledge of multiple technical aspects of the telecommunication life cycle, particularly site acquisition and professional services
  • Proven record in selling services, expanding existing accounts, and formulating successful business development strategies
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills; must be able to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations
  • Experience across full life cycle of business development activities to include market & customer research, capture management and proposal development. 
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer/partner situations

Educational Requirements
Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred

Travel Requirement
Travel in accordance with fluctuating industry event and client meeting/event needs is required
